We found a new rooftop bar!

Frike, Fraul and I went for dinner in Curry Hill and went to look for a post-dinner drink. On the way we saw this on the ground and the chalkboard sign. [NB: the entrance photos were taken on the way out. Hence the time differential.]

At first, we were suspicious but intrigued.

But then thought to ourselves, hmmm - are we like kids being tempted into the van with candy?

And then the elevator reminded me of some scene from one of the Saw movies. I've never seen any of them, but it's what I imaged it to be. I mean, what's on the walls?

See?

And then we got to the rooftop bar, and it was beautiful! It had just opened two days ago, so it was all fresh and had that new bar smell.

Here's Fraul enjoying the bar.

Here's Frike and me - just happy that it is a bar and not a horror movie.

And what a view!

I can't remember the names of the drinks except that last one because it was mine - an italian greyhound.

There was a fire even before it got dark outside.

And here's the view as we leave.

So no scary van, no horror stories, just great drinks, friends and view. Yay!

That elevator was creepy, but the views, the drinks and the company look worth it!
