Mochi is this great rice dessert that is very popular in Asia. My friend FrAnnie took this video while in Japan -- it's awesome!
Mochi is not easy to make, as you can see from the video. However, it's worth every penny to buy. My fav in NYC is Minamoto Kitchoan which is near Rockefeller Center.
