Welcome to the world, "Baby Girl" Freyers Frane (name TBD)! She was born at 12:21 pm today and is 6 lbs., 12 oz., and 19.5 inches long. Frarey (Mother), Freven (Father) and Baby Girl are all well.
She has a little head like an apple, so sweet!!!!

My friend Frim submitted the following haikus, which were considered "too depressing" for a book about Lymphedema. I just don't think that is right - I think they ring true. So, here are they are, for everyone to enjoy.
Lymphedema Haiku for a Bad Day and a Good Day
"The secret is to make certain that the good days outnumber the bad."
On a Bad Day
Swollen like sausage
Blotchy pain constant vigil
For the rest of life
On a Good Day
I do what I have always done
Make the best of the situation
And add a little fun
