My friends Fron, Frannie and I took a quick southern walk of Central Park and who did I spy but GEORGE TAKEI and his husband Brad Altman. I of course freaked out after they walked by and Annie had the cojones to stop them and ask for a photo. Fron had walked ahead and we called to him to come back. And what did George Takei say to Fron (real name Ron)? "Ron, don't be SHY!"
Needless to say this was the highlight of my year if not decade to take a photo with George Takei. Thank you, George and Brad, for granting this geek chick supreme happiness.
